About the company

Redbourn Community Group (RCG) is a volunteer lead registered charity which has been serving the village of Redbourn since 1980.

We organise car transport for people who need to attend hospital or other medical and wellbeing appointments. We provide a minibus transport service to support a programme of shopping, leisure activities and day trips.

We run a companionship network for people who like social contact via a phone call or a walk with a volunteer. We assist with shopping and pharmacy deliveries for those who need help. We lend equipment such as mobility scooters and wheelchairs for short or long term need.

We work with other organisations for the benefit of residents, make contributions to community projects and give grants to people in need.
